0Today is the day the WSR finally begins. You’ll be back in Chicago for the inaugural race, but you’ll be in for an unorthodox challenge. Callahan wants to test out a groundbreaking new race style he’s developed called Liveroutes. In it, the track of an area literally changes as the race continues on. As long as you have a good understanding of the track, these races will not pose much of a challenge.
Also, you’ll receive your next vehicle challenge once you have completed your first championship. These challenges are time trials that see how fast you can make a lap in a predetermined car. Finish under the target time, and you’ll win the car you were driving in. This is also a great opportunity to show how insane the handling systems for each car really are. For instance, the Dodge Charger R/T might be powerful in the straightaways, but it has the maneuverability of a tank in the corners. As always, choose the car that you feel the most comfortable driving. Do that, and you’ll become a true competitor on the race track.
