Hey everyone, welcome to my Channel! In today’s guide, I’ll be walking you through a complete setup tutorial step by step PS$ Jailbreak Tutorial. By the end, you’ll know exactly how to prepare everything you need, configure your system properly, and make sure it all works smoothly.

Requirements

Before we dive in, let’s cover what you’ll need:

Blu-ray Files: https://github.com/Gezine/BD-JB-1250/releases

Gold Hen: https://ko-fi.com/s/bd655acbdb

IMGBURN: https://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download

HomeBrew Store: https://pkg-zone.com/
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The proper hardware or media (make sure you’re using the correct type).

A compatible drive or writer to prepare your files.

Optional: Pre-prepared media if you don’t want to create one yourself.

Once you’ve got these items ready, we’ll move on to system preparation.

Disable Updates

First, it’s important to ensure your system doesn’t automatically install unwanted updates.

Check your notifications and delete any pending system software downloads.

Open Settings → Network, and temporarily disable internet access.

Go to Settings → System → Automatic Downloads and uncheck all options.

This prevents interruptions during setup.

Compatibility

Next, check your firmware or software version:

Confirm it’s within the supported range for this process.

Keep in mind that some versions may have easier alternatives, while others may no longer work with certain methods.

Downloads

Now, gather the necessary files:

The main setup file.

The supporting payload or utility.

(Optional) A store app or extra packages for added functionality.

Once downloaded, organize them on your computer for the next step.

USB Setup

Prepare your USB drive:

Format it to exFAT or FAT32.

Copy the required files to the root of the drive.

Rename files if needed (for example, payload.bin).

Add any additional packages you want to install later.

Eject the drive safely and plug it into your system.

Media Setup

Next, prepare your disc:

Use a reliable burning tool (such as ImgBurn).

Select Write Image File to Disc and load your ISO file.

Choose the recommended write speed (or try the lowest if errors occur).

Enable the Verify option to ensure a successful burn.

Once done, insert the disc into your console.

Running the Setup

When you first run the disc, you may see prompts requiring internet access to activate certain features. Allow it temporarily, then disable internet again afterward.

If playback fails, ensure HDCP is enabled in system settings.

Retry if it doesn’t work the first time—stability improves after initial setup.

Once successful, you’ll see confirmation that everything is running properly.

Installing Apps

With setup complete, head to Debug Settings → Package Installer.
From here, you can install the apps you copied to your USB drive.

Example: A test game package, or a homebrew store for downloading other apps.

After installation, try running them to confirm your system is fully set up.

Customization & Features

Once you’re up and running, you can:

Enable overlays (FPS counter, RAM usage, etc.).

Install cheats, patches, or plugins.

Use servers for remote file access or payload loading.

Adjust system tweaks and utilities to your preference.

Maintaining the Setup

Keep in mind:

This is a tethered setup, meaning it resets on reboot.

Apps remain installed, but you’ll need to re-run the process after restarting.

To avoid reloading every time, consider using Rest Mode instead of shutting down.
