Quick and dirty Omote 2-ALL done for La Calice Cup.
Ketsui was first released in arcades in 2003 and was made by CAVE. It's easily one my favorite shmups.
Ketsui Deathtiny is the latest port of Ketsui done by M2. It's part of their Shottriggers lineup, a project to port classic shmups to new consoles in the best way possible.
This port is by far and away the best shmup port ever made, if not the best port ever made period.
It's arcade perfect, has two different arrange modes, five different BGM's to select from, an arcade challenge mode, leaderboards, replays and tons of extra features and extras. It even has save states for practice and a feature to reduce input lag.
It's the ultimate version of Ketsui, you can really see how much care and love went into this port. One of my favorite details is that there even is a side-widget during the stage 2 and 5 midbosses that tells you when to finish them off for maximum score.
You enter the Omote loop if you beat the first loop with 6 mistakes or less.
A mistake meaning either a death or a bomb.
You enter the Ura loop if you beat the first loop with no-miss, no-bomb and more than 120 million score.
There is even a widget on the side that keeps track of this stuff for you.
Ura is a lot harder and has blue revenge bullets instead of red. It also has the game's TLB at the end.
