[PS4 PRO] Daymare: 1998 | A Return to Survival Horror | Part 6 {FINALE}

I know it has been a long while since I last streamed as I've been uploading clips to keep you all entertained for when I did stream finally here with Daymare: 1998!
RECAP: We started the game as Agent Liev where he and team H.A.D.E.S. are sent in under orders to retrieve the pollux virus sample along with eliminating any remaining survivors. Upon collecting the sample, Agent Liev makes his great escape, however, there was soon a feud between the comrades. Agent Liev breaks the virus on Sandman's face and kills him, but also accidentally shoots the controls to which he is forced to jump off from the helicopter. Agent Liev arrives on a pier and is in Keen Sight city, only to see the town is infested with zombies and his goal is to head for his extraction point as the Keen Sight Hospital.
The next character were introduced and play as is Sam Walker who is a Park Ranger and has Daymare Syndrome which he must take his meds to avoid seeing weird hallucinations. On his night shift, he sees the helicopter crash down into the forest which leads him to investigate. He witnesses zombies within the area and has no clue what is going on and has to head back to check with his wife and when he does, he comes across Sandman and witnesses him killing his wife which then leads Sam on the road to revenge. Sam follows after Sandman to the Hospital and there we see Sandman kill Agent Liev. Sam continues to follow Sandman as he will stop at nothing to get his revenge.
Next, we play as Raven who is the co-pilot as he managed to survive from the helicopter crash and his objective was to head to the crash site and see if any other members had survived, but there were none. Raven then heads to the Dam and managed to make contact with Sandman as he tells Raven that the two of them will need to get out of town.
And here we are now on Chapter 4 where we return to Sam Walker as he continues to search for Sandman for revenge as he is out on the streets of Keen Sight. With Sam stealing the H.A.D.E.S. tech device, he too hears the communication between Sandman and Raven as they share their location which is the Dam.
Now on the final chapter with Chapter 5, we return back to Raven as he must find a way to escape and meet Sandman at the extraction point, however, Raven is stopped by an infected/mutated Liev. We had a boss battle on our first encounter which took some time. The second time we met mutated Liev is where the stupid fun begins as we have to run from him while using the incendiary barrels to stop his track as we wait for the elevator. I honestly didn't think I would beat that portion as it is rage inducing, but I'm glad I was able to before I truly started to rage and pull a rage quit if I hadn't. Then, we come face to face again with mutated Liev on the upper floor and with the game giving us infinite ammo for this final boss fight, I threw whatever I got at the monster and finished him off with the magnum.
Raven meets with Sandman and gives him the cure to which stops the virus in him and his uncontrollable madness and finally Sam catches up and has Sandman at gunpoint. The last thing we see is all three men equipped with their handguns equipped as the screen goes black when we hear the gunfire.
The last final moments in the game is where we play as the Cleaner (voiced by the famous Paul Haddad aka OG RE2 Leon and had passed away last year) who is the Mastermind behind the whole incident as he used Sandman to do the dirty work all for the sake of his sick daughter.
I truly hope we get to see more from this dev team, Invader Studious as I truly enjoyed playing this game minus the few glitches/bugs/crashes that can occur and that bs moment with mutated Liev on the 2nd encounter. This game really takes you back down memory lane with the classic style of survival horror of Resident Evil so if you're a fan of that, you'll definitely enjoy this game.
