PS4 Quick Look | JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Eyes of Heaven (Demo) (2015)
NAMCO BANDAI has a cleaver way of double profiting from theirs games , cut-scenes are theirs audiovisual property , gameplay is yours ... Try to show one without an other , and you get an incoherent mess ...haha , at lest they are flexible and do not region lock the whole video like Konami does
So what about this game , well its for some the direction Japan fighters evolved ... to an 3D arena exploration 2v2 / 6v6 fighters , with environment power ups ... when people still want, to force this genre ...to stay in the 1vs1 2D perspective ... of Arcade machines
The thing is, when American fighters evolved , adding now context that fluid intertwine the gameplay ... Japan games stayed in the Visual Novel department culture, of too much text ( story matters ) ... or cutscenes that take longer then the whole game ... just to give you motivation to progress
Now the question here is , do you play games for the story aspect or for the fighting aspect (in this genre)... if the story if your thing , then get this game... its like an interactive anime ... but if the gameplay it is ... well the netcode to some is awfully laggy , and the fighting is well awfully restricted... the thing is , people wanted it to be similar to Naruto Shippuden series (its visual presentation and fights)... but got a strange beatthemup fighter with over long cutscenes ... on poorly made maps ,with this strange camera that you could not warp your head around
