PS4 Quick Look | KILLZONE - SHADOW FALL (2013) A Mediocre Ending to a Series...
... that lost its iconic presentation
Bullet Point Review :
- First 2 Chapters are Action based
- Chapter 3 does a 180 and this game becomes a stealth game , throwing out the window its iconic design
- no First Person iconic wall cover system , its now replaced by a mediocre drone mechanic
- ammo is picked automatic ... but for health items you have to PRESS A BUTTON ...the most irritating thing
- no massive fights , game is more build on stealth , then its iconic gun blazing action
- its now heavy story driven with awful script bugs and awful mo-cap animation
- now you know why they did not number it , because it lost its iconic mechanics that made it a Killzone game
- Ai is now squad based derping it more down , to fix this in later sections enemies have a sponge forcefield
- the only thing made right was the music that pumps you up to play more , then the story that falls flat
- The whole game was about a race virus and the battle who will use it on whom ... You or them , and then a half-breed comes that wants peace... but at then end the main hero is killed and the weapons will be used to stop fake terror attacks , but the half-breed thinks otherwise and does a cover-op to revenge you ... but made the situation even worse ...
When cover action fps ,becomes a story driven fps stealth game with a mediocre story about a race killing virus ... when a studio had the assets\graphics and maps but did not have a clue how to present a coherent story , and now you know why they did a 180 ... and theirs next game was a SandBox RPG Horizon Zero Dawn
