PS5 = No Upgradable SSD At Launch & No 1440p Support Confirmed | New Mass Effect Incoming
442A bunch of PS5 news today, as it has been confirmed that the Playstation 5 won't support SSD expansion at launch. The PS5 does have an M.2 SSD slot that you can add an M.2 into, but this is not being supported by Sony at launch. Also, there is sadly a lack of 1440p support on the next gen console. Will we ever see this resolution, AKA 2K, ever be added to the Playstation 5?
We also have news on external HDD storage for both PS4 games for backwards compatibility and PS5 games.
It has been pretty much confirmed that a new Mass Effect game is coming from Bioware, as well as the long rumoured Mass Effect Legendary Edition which remasters the original ME trilogy. Details are very thin on the ground, but we can expect details quite soon.
Finally, a Ryzen 5000 APU, the Ryzen 5700U, has been spotted inside an Acer laptop, complete with specifications for the Zen 2 Lucienne APU.
