PS5 vs Xbox Series X: 3D Audio Compared | Project Acoustics & Tempest Engine
In this video, we'll take a look at the 3D Audio (Spatial Audio) technology used in the Xbox Series X gaming console called 'Project Acoustics', which we got little information about, and compare it to Sony's PS5 3D Audio 'Tempest Engine'.
Does Xbox Series X feature 3D Audio technology? Yes, and in the first look, it seems very similar to Sony's. I still don't know whether Microsoft's PROJECT ACOUSTICS will be inferior, superior, or more or less the same as Sony's TEMPEST ENGINE but at least Xbox Series X gamers can rest assured that a great years-of-research spatial audio technology will be available for the Xbox Series X console as well.
