You're able to ramp up Luster's DPS by constantly canceling a PA into the Slide Step attack as early as possible. There is some science in the description below.

Stay Hollow Point by itself is 26f with 765 power
Forward Slide Step is *7+20f minimum with 640 power
(7F from initial Step)
Stay Hollow Point cancelable on 11f
S.Hollow Point into Forward SS is 38f with 1405 power
In comparison, Enhanced S.Flechette is 36f with 1202 power. This is the highest DPS PA on Luster.



Fun Fact: Step is 16f. So if S.Hollow Point is step canceled on 11f, that would be 27f Hollow+Step. S.Hollow by itself is 26f! That means that doing Hollow into Step is as fast as not canceling Hollow Point at all!

Other Attack Cancel frames:
Stay Flechette cancelable on 9f
Stay Slug Scatter cancelable on 13f
Stay Hollow Point cancelable on 11f

The attacks are cancelable with other things like Weapon Action, so you can greatly increase DPS on any WA use by throwing in any of these 3 PAs before canceling into WA. Here is an example.
