100Here is a quick intro on Support Partners. You can spend a lot of time with them if you want. I personally think they are an amusing part of the game but not 100% necessary to enjoy it.
At lower levels, I used them to farm a lot of Franka's Cafe quests.
There is some overlap here with the "Your Room" video that I put together.
