I present gameplay footage captured directly from a Japanese PSP-3000, thanks to the audio and video output capabilities of the PSP-2000 and PSP-3000 models. By utilizing the official PSP component cable, a RetroTink 4K, and an Avermedia GC573 capture card, I was able to achieve these external captures. We also explored its performance as an emulator on the ANBERNIC RG35XX H.
The PSP stood out as the only handheld console to truly compete with Nintendo, boasting strong sales, a range of excellent releases, and media player functionality. Its physical media, the UMD - Universal Media Disc, offered not just games but also movies and TV shows.
