This is proof of what happens if you attempt to boot Ape Escape (PSX) on a PAL PS3. The software emulation of the PSX on the PS3 does not have LibCrypt magic word in the executable thus tripping the protection. You can bypass the protection with a CUE+SBI file if using CFW/HEN.

Notes: First video in a while.

Symptoms:
The game disables all inputs from DualShock controller on Title Screen. The player is only able to skip the intro/demos and view the title screen.

The US and Japanese versions instead rely on the anti-modchip protection.
