I thought I'd challenge myself to a 7 stone handicap game against an AI from ~1996. AIs from this era likely cap out at around ~20-15 kyu. Given the 7 stone handicap, it should put the AI maybe around 13-8 kyu. I couldn't find out which algorithm exactly is used in the game, but if it plays at 8kyu, I should still be favored to win, but the AI should be able to have some groups live. Let's try!
