PSX - Legend of Mana Walkthrough Part 37: The Legend of Mana

Legend of Mana

After the long journey, and hardships, our hero finally heads to the Mana Tree to bring this story to a close.
I take a quick look through my cactus diary at the start of the video to show that it's been filled completely, also to make sure I didn't miss any quests before I head out for the final quest (which isn't recorded in the diary).
I head back to the Bejeweled City and recruit Elazul's help for it (as well as check out things that are happening after the Jumi Quest Arc), as having an NPC and a Pet comes in handy, also if you check the shop here you can get some good smithing items, although they are pricy. If you want to make the last dungeon a joke you could also come to the Bejeweled City on certain days and be able to recruit Black Rose, and her game breaking sync effect.
After the visit I head for the Mana Tree, the dungeon itself can be a little confusing since you have to climb the roots and sometimes the path isn't exactly obvious. I do my best to remember where all the chests are in the area, my apologies if I miss any.
Once you make it to the sanctuary you have to clear all the monsters from it in order to proceed to the final area.
You may be wondering why I'm bothering to grab the chests and why I got my fruit at the beginning of the game. Once you complete the game you get the option of making a clear save and start a new game plus from it keeping all your items, pets, and such so grabbing those will help out on your second playthrough.
The final boss isn't really too tough, it's just difficult to hit her as she is moving around, constantly. She does deal some good damage, though, so keep an eye on your health and go a corner away from her and use crouch if you need to regenerate a bit (crouch plus that accessory I showed how to make with two Yggdrasil cards on it helps regenerate health super fast).
One thing you have to be careful of is the moon in the background, once it's fully eclipsed the boss will use a special that will deal massive damage and will do another when it becomes a full moon again if the fight lasts that long.
Once you defeat the boss, enjoy the cut scene and congratulate yourself, you've finished the game.
As always, thanks for watching another of my video walkthroughs. I hope you enjoyed it and it was helpful to you.
