Psychoanalysis and AI in "The Signifier" with David Fenner
2"The Signifier" is a game that is based on Psychoanalytic and AI concepts, where narrative, visuals and gameplay mechanics "talk" about these subjects in an original way, interwined way. This short talk is about the difficulties we had in trying to marry entertainment and the passion behind wanting to tackle these complex subjects in a way that felt natural and core to the experience, instead of a narrative layer separate from the mechanics themselves.
