Psychonauts - Return to the Camp After PONR (Point of no Return)
203Once you've freed Lili you get to the point of no return which means you can't ever revisit the real world (the camp and the asylum) and therefor never be able to get the remaining challenge markers, scavenger hunt items etc. While the game actually does create a backup save at this point, it won't include any progress made after the PONR, so basically your progress in Meat Circus.
This guide however shows a way to reenter the real world by triggering the ending-cutscene in Lungfishopolis.
This trick still works on the PC version as of 2016 even though the game was updates to make the hand only grab you once instead of twice before killing you.
Workaround to side-effect:
There is a side-effect to this glitch which makes you unable to revisit Lungfishopolis once this glitch is performed. This is due to the game always taking you to the boss-arena and not letting you go back to the actual level. The way to fix this is to manually edit your save-file ans replace the text on the second row with: "loma"
This will make the save take you directly to Lungfishopolis instead of the boss-arena on the island.
