Pull on a String! Chichuki Plays Strings Theory
It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Plays, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. This time, we're looking at Strings Theory on the Nintendo Switch. I wasn't able to check this game out at PAX East this year but the dev reached out and sent me a code for the game to check it out.
Building blocks of life are also alive claims scientist. Is he nuts? That is what we're going to try and find out. This game reminds me of old school puzzle games where if you make one mistake, it's game over.
Different particles do different things. You will have to put your thinking cap on if you want to get through each level. Telly can move walls and create new paths as an example. By the looks of things, if you get more than half of the collectables in each level, you will open the portal to the next level. I have to say that I love Issac power of being able to walk upside down and under the path the best. You'll have to figure out how each character works because there will be levels that you need to use multiple to get through. You might need to make a path, walk under the ground and move to the other side.
Strings Theory is an interesting puzzle game that gets you to think about things. I like how all the characters interact with each other, when necessary, and how fun the writing is. Puzzle fans will want to check this one out.
