Back to the Old Grind! Chichuki Plays Hoard’s LLC:Limited Labyrinth Corporation
3It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Plays, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. We usually play about an hour or so as I don't want to spoil too much for you. This time we're looking at Hoard’s LLC:Limited Labyrinth Corporation. This is an interesting one because this game was at PAX East but I didn't have a chance to play it there. The dev reached out and sent me the PAX East demo version of the game and I was able to check it out.
Hoard’s LLC is a charming puzzle game that tells the tale we all have gone through one time or another, work and how it sucks. The writing is very well done and I love how the employees of the Labyrinth like Barry show their pride in their work.
You have to get Barry from one end of the level to the other. You have the option to move pieces of the level like a slide puzzle. There are certain spaces that can't be moved as well as some spaces having spikes. The lower the moves, the better the score in each level. Trust me, it starts off simple and then gets really tough. Also I have no idea why the volume got really loud in certain spots of the video. The character designs for Barry and Frannie are great and I can't wait to see more from them.
