My Thoughts on Splatterhouse 2
If you ever played the arcade version back on the Turbo Grafx or in an actual arcade you'll know this is a great sequel. They keep the fundamentals from the previous Splatterhouse 2 but spice things up with more sinister-looking bosses and backgrounds. I quite honestly do not know how Jennifer got captured again but it's up to Rick to be the badass that he is and defeat every single monster in his way with his fists! Mind you as you're watching this I get through the bosses pretty quickly but only because I've had a bit of practice! I only wish the game was a bit longer - it took me half an hour to beat....that's pretty darn quick!
Would You Recommend Someone To Play Splatterhouse 2?
Absolutely! The game might be short but it is tough! The levels have their own quirks and obstacles to them but with enough practice, you'll be able to get through them with no problem at all. However, the bosses might take some practice as they can be tough but that's to be expected with every game. If you're a huge fan of gory games and this is sort of classified as a side-scrolling beat 'em up then look no further!
What Was Your Least Favorite Level in Splatterhouse 2?
There was no least favorite level, more like a least favorite obstacle which was the elevator that appeared twice in this game. I just hated to be so confined and the second time you're in that elevator you have to dodge falling debris.
Who Was The Most Difficult Boss in Splatterhouse 2 Aside from the Final Boss?
The Stage 6 boss was my least favorite boss considering the very limited opportunities you had to be able to strike him....it...whatever it was! It took a lot of trial and error to defeat those floating heads and to me, this boss was just incredibly annoying.
