This basics video tutorial shows you how to make a rudamentory system to push boxes like the old school game Sokoban or Goof Troop in GameMaker Studio.

Why only rudamentory?
The mechanics of pushing are part of how you want to design the player interactions with moving instances and here it can vary a lot. This system for detecting and setting the boxes to move is functional but not the best solution for such a game. This is only a limited way but is a solid enough for a basics tutorial.

The box moving and sticking to solid walls is on the other hand a complete object and needs no real further improvement. (Besides another collision to other moving boxes of course)
