PvZ 2 - Battlez: Week 42 Cold Snapdragon - Cheating (Glitching) Prospector Zombie!
4Prospector Zombie launches himself before even stepping on the lawn and is immune to Blover while airborne, even Blover + Stallia and + Primal Peashooter knockback! Here are the times of interest (skip to them as the rest of the video is included just for context):
0:55 A few seconds before he launches in row 4; it's clear for now. Look at the very right side of the screen.
0:57 Prospector Zombie launches out of nowhere, thin air, as the saying goes.
1:22 His immunity to Blover + Stallia knockback.
1:30 His immunity to Blover + Primal Peashooter knockback.
This is a glitch and shouldn't have been possible because, in sequence:
1. Prospector Zombie is only supposed to launch himself after reaching the middle of a tile in column 8 with the dynamite’s fuse lit. However, this turd's dynamite detonated BEFORE reaching column 8; heck, he didn't even reach the lawn! Additionally, my plant setup makes it impossible for any Prospectors to reach column 8 with a lit fuse; it’d always be extinguished in column 9.
2. All airborne zombies are blown away by Blover (Lost Pilot is the only one who is not instantly killed, perhaps because he’s attached to his parachute, but he is blown off of it); the only exception is those sprung in the air by Spring Bean. When he launches in this video, Blover is active so he should’ve been blown away. However, the timing is close so we can say it’s possible he missed the active window and didn’t break the rule. Okay, but then...
3. All zombies rendered airborne by Stallia’s knockback are instantly killed when combined with Blover’s wind effect. If it’s debatable whether Blover was active while Prospector launched himself (point 2 above), there’s no question that at 1:22 he is airborne at the same time Blover is blowing. I planted Blover first, then Stallia immediately on the tile he occupied, which sent him in the air immediately as expected, but then Blover didn’t affect him at all.
4. All zombies rendered airborne by Primal Peashooter’s knockback are instantly killed when combined with Blover’s wind effect. As in the Stallia case, there’s no question that at 1:30 he is airborne at the same time Blover is blowing, yet he was completely unaffected again.
This glitch with a Prospector Zombie launching himself before appearing on the lawn and then being immune to Blover while airborne has happened once or twice already in this week’s Battlez and it is extremely annoying. It caused me to score significantly lower than normal and I just hope it is patched!
