the issue is across the board

you go into the booth you pick a cactus with a zoom upgrade equipped but it wont actually work

you go back into the booth and then you need to hit the customize button to equip the zoom upgrade again although you already have it equipped already only then it actually works.



in this video i test out the camo cactus and future cactus problem is happening on both


i now realize i played 90% of my games as camo cactus without the zoom upgrade thinking i have it



i think this problem is not only for zoom
it might be for more upgrades who knows


no one even noticed this or posted about it
yet people get angry with me for posting nothing but legit stuff.

i think this issue is related to the tutorial bug which had to do with the save file system that handled all your character customizations in the game.

they made some changes to solve the tutorial bug but it seems
it either caused more problems or they just did half the job while the system is still full with problems.


i also suspect this issue is related to the long loading times in online multiplayer

we started getting this issue after the update that fixed the tutorial bug which revolved around the save file system.

i think the game needs to load your save file from the server side! and sync it before each new round starts so the more changes you made and the more you played you will reach a constant point where loading takes 1:30 minutes

as developers said removing customizations wont help either
each movement and action you do to your characters counts in the save file.

this issue could be tested on a fresh new account that made no character customizations at all.

my guess that account would load into multiplayer fast.
