Pwnery Tinkers - AK-P "Creature Comforts" Upgrades
Hello and welcome to another episode of Pwnery Tinkers. Today's episode doesn't really fit a "This old Gat" since this is a brand new AK-P from Palmetto State Armory - but it is tinkering, and I'm doing just a few little upgrades to make ergonomics and comfort of use being the primary goal without really ruining the overall classic looks of this pistol that resembles the AKS-74u similar to the rifle once carried and prized by OBL himself.
Today's little add-ons include a Texas Shooter's Supply AK charging handle knob, an Echo 93 Sling mount plate, and a Trijicon RMR with a mount that offers me a perfect co-witness to the original sight post. The last modification is something I did to the Kalashnikov USA KP-9 which was to notch the safety lever to allow the bolt to be held open with the safety engaged and the magazine out. It's a little something I like to do to aid in cooling the internals down after a few magazines are run through either one of them.
In this video, I'll give you a brief explanation of what's about to change, but due to YouTube's rules on modifications on camera, I'll have to do those parts off-screen - but you'll see the before, and after - and pretty much the visual explains itself in terms of "how it was done."
If you'd like to grab the TSS charging knob, you can find it here :

...or if you'd like the Echo Nine Three sling mount plate, you can get that here (E93 ships outbounds only on Wednesdays at the time of this release - plan accordingly) :

So anyway - sit back, relax, and enjoy the show. Thanks for watching, subscribing, sharing, and tolerating me fumbling through these reviews. Since I'm a self-funded operation, they do tend to come few and far between, but I'm sitting on a small stable of future reviews that I just hadn't had the time to sit down and really get filmed and uploaded - hopefully that'll change soon.
Note : I do not do these videos for any monetary gain thanks to the "unique" changes YouTube has made in their requirements for monetized content, and have maintained procedural information as close as possible in line with their new guidelines as well. I do these videos for solely for the spread of information, and maybe a little notoriety in my often-infringed upon community.
