Happy Cinco De Mayo - and I bring you GREAT news! Texas has taken one more step to become the 21st state to pass Constitutional Carry! In the State Senate today, the bill passed 18-13 making our state the Largest state in the country to eradicate a "Tax for your rights."

Governor Greg Abbott has pledged to sign this into law as soon as it hits his desk so consider this a done deal. Keep in mind, this bill will not go into effect until September 1st 2021, so don't just go running out there carrying just yet if you don't already have a state-issued LTC.

This is a great day for Texas, and the hard working efforts of GOA, Texas Carry, and each and every one of you who helped push this herculean effort across the finish line.
