Pwnery's Reloading Bench - A Quick and Dirty Lesson About Annealing Brass
Many of you out there will file this information under "Duh," but for the new guy out there who may have stumbled upon my channel, I say, "Welcome, and I hope this is useful to you!"
Today's release is just a basic lesson in Annealing your shouldered brass cases and why you should do it, how you should do it, and how long to do it. This doesn't seem like a big deal to some, but relieving tension from your brass ensures maximum life of the brass to prevent fractures along the neck, and better obturation during firing. It is recommended to generally anneal your brass every other, or every third loading.
I'm using a simple propane torch that you can pick up at any hardware store, and a cup of water. Total cost, less than 10 bucks. So sit back, relax, and enjoy a quick-and-dirty little short on how I do it, and how easy it is to do. It literally takes almost no time at all.
Note : I do not do these videos for any monetary gain thanks to the "unique" changes YouTube has made in their requirements for monetized content, and have maintained procedural information as close as possible in line with their new guidelines as well. I do these videos for solely for the spread of information, and maybe a little notoriety in my often-infringed upon community.
