Pwnery's Penny Arcade - Call of Saregnar Demo - The First 30
3Hello, Happy New Year, and welcome back to Pwnery's Penny Arcade and today I'm starting 2022 with a NEW throwback RPG titled Call of Saregnar - a game that you can clearly tell the creators were gigantic fans of Betrayal at Krondor. This game mimics the playstyle, layout, and format of Dynamix's 1993 hit, but comes to us in a far more polished, smooth, and refined version. You start by taking control of two characters Hewan, a magician, and Sam, a rogue adventurer type.
Today on the First 30, we deal with calling out a cheater at cards, get a tongue-lashing from the Barmaid and Owner of the Yew Tree In, Dina (rowr!), and are sent packing and told not to return until we pay Sam's AND the cheating gambler's debt. So - we'll set off in hot pursuit - in the middle of the night and see where that takes us for better or worse.
