Quake3Quest is a fan-made port of Quake 3 Arena designed for Meta Quest headsets. It brings the full single-player and multiplayer experience into VR with weapon support, motion controls, and full 6DoF immersion. You’ll need your own copy of the original Quake 3 Arena to unlock all maps and content, but the setup is surprisingly easy.
How to Install Quake 3 Arena VR on Quest 3:
Enable Developer Mode on your Quest 3 using the Meta mobile app.
Install SideQuest on your PC or use the Android app to enable sideloading.
In SideQuest, search for “Quake3Quest” and install it to your headset.
Copy your original Quake 3 Arena game files (especially the baseq3 folder with PK3 files) to the Quake3Quest folder on your Quest.
Launch Quake3Quest from “Unknown Sources” in your headset and enjoy.
