2Probably one of the most misjudged of all 360 launch titles.
If you're a fan of the series, Quake 4 is exactly what you expect. It is a gory, highly visceral and adrenaline pumped shooter and hot damn do I freaking love it for being so. They'll always be detractors to how straight-forward it plays, but for it's genre, Quake 4 is as glossy and fun to play as you would hope.
Many critics cited the game as it supposedly has horrendous frame-rate problems, but believe me, the game runs smoothly for the most part. It doesn't drop to unplayable levels at all.
