Playing through the final level and boss battle deathlessly on Quake 4 Normal/Corporal Difficulty. The final boss battle has to be done in a blitz. The Makron needs to be quickly taken out with the Dark Matter Gun and the Nexus Brain needs to be quickly beaten with rockets. The toughest part is getting unlucky with enemies that the boss brings in for backup. If you linger on either of these battles, you will get peeled apart. Speed is the key to victory.

This was a pretty clean run. It took about a dozen tries, I kept getting unlucky and slaughtered by Iron Maidens. I also offered some closing thoughts on Quake 4. Although there is a "cliffhanger" style-ending to tease a follow-up, there would unfortunately be no follow-up to Quake 4, so we just have to enjoy this game for what it is.
