The Xbox 360 port of Quake 4 definitely has it's share of technical issues. It was a launch game and it shows. That aside, if you can deal with the framerate issues, it's still a solid FPS game in it's own right. The PC version is obviously better, and you can run it on almost any computer out there nowadays, however, for the time, the 360 port would have run this game better than a large percentage of PC's could have in 2005. The PC's that could run it better with higher graphical detail would have cost twice as much if not more at the time. That being said, if you have an Xbox 360 and aren't overly sensitive to framerate issues, this game is worth putting in your collection, especially if you find it with the Quake II bonus disk that came with a remastered version of Quake II for free.
