While I have the new remastered version of Quake on Steam, I decided to show some gameplay from good old WinQuake. WinQuake still installs and plays just fine on Windows 10. No installation issues, no compatibility issues, it just runs.

Winquake was an official source-port of Quake to Windows. It has no GL support which means that there was no way of improving the graphics with a 3D accelerator. It runs purely in software mode, so it has been dubbed Chucky Quake by gamers over the years. It's still just as fun as ever.

As you can see, I had to put in the command +Mlook to get mouse aiming in the game. Otherwise you have to hold the right mouse button the whole time to aim and move as without mouse look, moving the mouse moves the character.
