Quake Champions Training - Quad Damage Control Basics
Controlling Quad can be the difference in winning and losing, so it's important to try to get it... somehow. In Team Deathmatch (TDM) you should go to Quad with your team every 2 minutes to challenge for it. In Free For All (FFA) it's more chaotic so sometimes it's best to sit back and get it once everyone dies. There's no absolute answer and you need to adapt depending on the situation.
For now, at least try to be close to it and be ready to make a challenge... so start getting set up for it at 8:30, 6:30, 4:30 and 2:30 left in the game, because Quad spawns at 8 minutes first, then depending on when it is picked up, 6:00, 4:00 and 2:00... but usually a few seconds after each because it's not picked up straight away.
Get the quad time, get tanked, try to control it.
Good luck!
