It's really, really hard to come up with ideas for a game mode, but I've been thinking about this for a while. I asked people on stream if they wanted to hear it, they said yes, so here it is!

I wanted a team based mode that really made use of the Champions while encouraging the core gameplay values of Quake as players worked toward a goal.

So I figured... why not combine single player and multiplayer somehow? Co-op was always fun, and to play co-op against other humans also playing co-op sounded even better. AI Monsters including Bosses + Human Champions = Awesome.

I'm thinking one team has an established base in the game, the other builds a base to lay siege on the other, but that's already set up once you get into the game, this is just backstory. Both bring their monsters to help defend and attack, and each team is trying to break through to capture the technology of the other. I'll elaborate on the rules if this ever goes further.

But basically 3 zones each and a neutral middle zone; each zone has certain kinds of monsters in them with a boss in the final zone. The AI is basic and more of an obstacle than a real challenger like the other human players.
