This map truly IS "The Palace of HATE". I spent about two weeks with an average playing time of roughly 2 hours a day to get this piece of crap looking demo. I had as low as 2:51, but with four kills missing. Apart from the two first kills, everything is a lottery. Not two runs are even remotely the same. The worst thing is the pool with all the fish, I rarely get past that without one or two Fiends delightfully jumping into the water making me loose a crapload of time. Most demos ended with me being dead within the first 30 seconds though. I promised myself that I would stop when I get a time under 3 minutes, so that's what I did.The run could - in theory at least - be much faster.
I wanted to prove that the Quake done Quick route could be applied to the SDA run as well. It's much much trickier due to not having the GL at the start and that grenade ammo is very scarce. It's not possible to just blast away at everything with the GL like in the QdQ run.
I included the old 3:09 demo for comparion if someone wants to see how low they can get either of these two different routes. Brace yourself for annoyingly annoying Fiends and Shamblers though!
