Quake II RTX First 30 Minutes Gameplay Walkthrough (RTX ON) #RTXON
Quake II RTX is a remaster of Quake II (1997) that uses ray-tracing technologies in the game to improve the visuality of the game drastically. Quake II RTX is now fully supports with cutting-edge and ray-traced reimagining of id software’s old school classic. On top of that, the global lighting effects are including realistic reflections, refraction, shadows, ambient occlusion and global illumination are a result of the path-traced simulation of light.
But these graphic or visual settings may potentially reduce GPU performance drastically. Thus, the cost for these visual settings are too high for the GPU and even RTX 2080 TI is also struggling a lot.
You can get Quake II RTX from here.

As you can see, my GPU RTX 2080 is OC by using Auto OC scanner from MSI afterburner software. You can get the MSI afterburner from here.

As you can see, the average FPS that I able to achieve from this game is about 30 - 40fps. All of the visual settings are set to Max @ 1440p except for the anti-aliasing (no AA).
