Quake II: The Reckoning - Episode 1: Swamp - Altreus the Retrobate
0The first expansion pack released for Quake II was called The Reckoning. It came out in 1998, and follows a different marine who crash-landed for a different reason on a different part of the Strogg homeworld, accidentally too close to the Far Cry testing facilities, apparently.
Retrobating is a series where I go back and play through video games from the old days - games that I often didn't bother trying to finish as a kid. We go back and play them with a modern eye, hopefully finally getting through them, and giving them a bit of praise and/or criticism as appropriate along the way.
This expansion came free with the re-release of Quake 2, so let's play it!
