0After fighting his way through the swamps and the sewers, Joker has to go through the compound. As soon he made his arrival, he happened to witness his squad get turned to mince meat, so now he’s gonna have to complete the mission on his own.
You’ll want to predict where the enemies will be in this unit, because it’s highly likely that you’ll end up getting tagged from behind by some punk sitting behind the doorways. Starting at this point in the expansion, you’ll notice that the guards have gotten new looks and new toys, ranging from them being able to shoot blue pulse lasers to hitscan beams that can burn away your health and armor. Let’s not forget about the ones that can shoot ion ripper ricochet projectiles. These guards aren’t the only guys that you should worry about. The Brains are much more of a threat unlike the ones in the vanilla game. Remember how these suckers can slap you around with their tentacles? They can pull you towards them with it now, and not only that, they can also shoot the same red laser beams as one of the new hopped up guards just to add in some of the extra hurt. If you see these guys, eliminate immediately. As you advance further, you’re gonna end up fighting those super tanks once again, and this time, they will take a little longer for you to destroy as they have power shields. Just don’t get reckless when fighting them. You guys saw me that I had one hell of a close call against these monsters when I had to fight two of them at once. Finally, once you get to the later part of the unit, you’ll get a new weapon. Remember the guards that have ricochet projectiles? You’ll be firing the same thing as soon as you pick up the iron ripper. It hits really hard, but the projectiles are slow, and you’re better off unloading it on some Tank’s face.
