Improved Weixing Ye record by 2 sec. I saw
his run and thought i would try the easy run
route. I did this for about 2 hours but i
allways died from the Shambler. I then tried
playing with cheat and with save state to get
better at the last boost to the top. I
allways had around 60 - 90 red armor and
about 90 - 100 hp after i took the hp box
after the lava. I tried boosting to the top
but i had allways around 10 - 30 hp left
after the boost and the Shambler would kill
me.
Weixing Ye used the route to just bunny the
all way. I took the ogre granade boost to the
quad and blue key from the easy run route. I
compared Weixing Ye route vs mine and he used
the blue key at around 20 sec and i used it
at around 17.5. Most of the runs i used it at
18 sec or 18.5 sec. This run was the fastes
ogre granade boost i had done all day. He use
to run a little bit more before throwing the
granade. So, my route was about 2 sec faster.
I improved it by 2 sec so that seems right
;)
This run was hard. The first 1 - 2 hours i
got ogre granade boosted about 5 times.. For
the last hour i got the boost correctly
around 1/10 runs, the best i did was to get
boosted 3 times in a raw on two different
occasions. To be honest the ogre boost was
more consistent than getting a good rocket
launcher boost from the lava. Had to restart
so many times because i either had to little
hp left or i had no boost at all. Another
hard part was getting the elevator starting
and then block the bars without taking damage
from the death knight. If you have less than
55 hp there you wont survive the Shambler
attack..
I felt this run was a revenge on royalwar. I
still have a 2 player record on this map but
my 2 player EH was taken by my brother Jonny
and his friend Daniel. So i hope i keep this
for a while :)
