Quantum Theory and Free Will - a reading - Episode 5 - Free Will Beyond Time
Is there such a thing as backwards-in-time causation? What was the significance of the delayed choice experiment, done by John Archibald Wheeler?
Can an observation can cause events prior to the observation? Henry Stapp (and I) would suggest, given the evidence, that the experimenter's free choice about which experiment to do at a given time, can affect what happened at an earlier time. Is Bohmian Mechanics up to the task of explaining the results of the delayed choice experiment? If not, how do we make sense of it?
In this reading the case is made that Mentalism (mind over matter - us creating/manifesting reality via our minds) applies across time. Von Neuman's Process 1 (the conscious Source Field) affects Process 2 (malleable holographic universe) timelines, not just singular events, and not just by one observer, but all observers, co-creating together.
How does this work and how does this relate to the Mandela Effect? What are the quantum dynamics of the Mandela effect?
Also, have mainstream scientists become the priests of the contemporary age, the gatekeepers of what can be deemed truth in the minds of the public? What is their religion? I would suggest it's the Church of Materialism. In both the athiestic sense (denying the evidence for mind over matter) and the hedonistic, consumerist, nihilist sense.
Anyway, I'm really enjoying this book, and I feel that these readings are really nailing the...well nails, into the coffin for materialism. That said, you are free to interpret things otherwise. I hope you enjoy.
