Quest 64 Hard Mode {Part 3} (No Commentary)
All of that grinding in Windward Forest seems to pay off as Brian steamrolls his way through Blue Cave and Nepty with no issue whatsoever. While this mod does indeed make Quest 64's base game more difficult, it also makes some aspects a little bit easier, and I feel this is the definitive way to play the game, where all 4 elements are actually useful and you can rely more on just water to keep constant healing so you don't need to waste your items until you need them for boss fights.

One of my latest fixations is on these "iceberg" videos that have been on YouTube for a really long time, just never really took an interest until recently. Apparently, "Hard mode", which is this mod, is fairly deep in the Quest 64 ice berg. So I must be on the right track!
I'm aware there is an agility exploit and a way to manipulate the RNG in the game to make enemies miss more often, but I prefer grinding Brian's defense because I find taking damage is a fairly inevitable outcome in this RPG and having maxed out agility stats only goes so far. Your hits and spells are also more accurate when you agility grind, but I like doing my method a bit more.
