Quest For Glory II: Part 1 - Now You Look Like A Hero, Shapeir Style
4In the first part of Quest For Glory II: Trial By Fire, we rejoin "Blondie", the newly entitled Hero of Spielburg, and his friends, the Kattas Shameen and Shema and the merchant Abdulla, as they take a long magic carpet ride from Spielburg to their homeland far in the south - the golden desert sands of Shapeir. Having safely landed and settled back in the Katta Tail Inn, they are met by some disturbing news - particularly from the nearby Raseir, twin city of Shapeir, whose old Emir has allegedly been dethroned and whose own Katta population has been driven out of the city by the new (and quite ruthless) administration. Meanwhile, within Shapeir itself rumors abound about upcoming disasters from Elementals and Djinni about to get unleashed on the city... for now, things seem to be pretty quiet, though, so at least there is tme for Blondie to familiarize himself with the large city and visit the local stores and places of interest, as he makes friends with the beautiful Money Changer Dinarzad, the predictably cooky local Astrologer, and plenty of colorful human and Katta merchants around the block.
