Game Type: Graphical Adventure, Fantasy
Definitely in my top 3 best graphical adventure games. This game took the best of graphical adventures, and infused it with a remarkably good RPG elements.
You first choose which class to play the game as. Fighter, Mage & Thief. Each have their own unique way of completing quests. This wasn't just a sideshow pony where it changed your stats. They actually went as far as to think of different solutions to many of the puzzles.
So you have both attributes & skill stats. Which increase through usage. So if you can't climb a tree, trying multiple times will increase your strength and climbing skills. Same with any other skill!
Not only that but there's also a decent combat system! My favorite build is a Thief, mage & Fighter hybrid. Once you get a spell called dazzle, I would dazzle my oponents at a distance (before engaging in combat) then throw as many daggers as I could at them. Once you get really good at both throwing and dazzle spell, you can literally not enter combat and slay a lot of the different creatures/enemies you can encounter.
As if all of this wasn't enough. This game truly offers an open world experience. With many if not all the quests which can be done in whichever order you prefer. Want to grind some skills before starting the main quest? Sure, why not!
The thief even gets to rob some of the houses in the main town! This game is just amazing any way you look at it!
