0Wizzo returns to Quest for Glory V, but honestly, I'm not sure it's going so great. Sure, we've freed some random fishing village from Roman invaders and amassed a respectable drachma horde, but (SPOILER ALERT) we also stood by and calmly watched while our friend and mentor Rakeesh was assassinated. I feel really awful about it, so I prepared this eulogy...
"We are gathered here today to mourn the passing of Rakeesh, a dear friend and mentor to many of us. Rakeesh was a brave and noble paladin who dedicated his life to the pursuit of honor and the protection of the innocent. Rakeesh was a constant companion and guide to the hero, offering wisdom and guidance as they embarked on their journey to become a true champion. His fierce loyalty and unwavering sense of honor made him a true friend and ally to all who knew him.
Tragically, Rakeesh was taken from us far too soon, felled by the hand of an assassin's poison. But even in death, his spirit lives on, inspiring us to continue the fight for justice and to never give up in the face of adversity. Rakeesh, you will be greatly missed, but your legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew you. Rest in peace, dear friend."
Oh, well. Back to the grind. Another day, another drachma.
