-INSTRUCTIONS: There are 2 little nibs that fit inside the speaker channel to prevent the Audio Booster from sliding around! Give it a little pressure on top/bottom of the clip once it's in place and it should sort of 'lock-in'. Small forces should not be able to slide around the Audio Booster once they are locked in place :)
-Hey guys, I designed something that really improves the sound quality of the stock speakers of the Quest Pro.
-So I've actually incrementally printed 11 different versions of this modification. I got some great feedback/suggestions by some audio engineers on reddit. It started off as a much smaller, flatter earpiece, and has morphed into something that more closely resembles over-the-ear headphones. With these in place (I have a large head, and my ears are about 1inch or more away from the stock speakers), I can only comfortably play at 3 volume ticks below max lol. 2 below is really pushing it, as it's REALLY LOUD. The clarity is still crisp, positional audio is still on point, if not better.
-I've been playing with version 11 installed for a while now and I'm quite confident that performance is as good as it's going to get while remaining comfortable to wear, and fitting the quest pro correctly. They look quite nice if I do say so myself 🙂. These are printed in TPU, so that they will not break by applying pressure accidentally on them, and also should not aggravate your skin when brushing up against them. I am very picky, and will not sell something that I don't personally use and love. I made these for myself, and intend to use them as long as I own the quest pro! Should any major upgrade happen (or there be some kind of use-breaking issue for customers with certain head sizes), existing customers will get some kind of steep discount (i.e. shipping/materials only). The first purchaser has left a thorough review in the /r/QuestPro subreddit! Note: This boosts the sound of the speakers, but does not produce more 'thumpy' bass. The woofers still move the same amount of air as before.
-I now offer a pre-made strap (1.25" black braided elastic band, with 2 black plastic 1.25" slide adjusters) as well as a 'Left Ear Link Cable Guide', for a few extra dollars!
