Questions for Atheists - Do You Think the Human Body Was Intelligently Designed?
Questions for Atheists
"Everyone knows Mount Rushmore was the result of intelligent design. Do you think the human body is the result of intelligent design?" [1]
Intelligent design proponents, better known as Christian Creationists, like to use various arguments from analogy to infer that humans were intelligently designed.
However, the evidence shows that humans evolved from common ancestors we share with other primates.
So, maybe it was our ancestor that was designed?
As more data comes in that Creationists have begun to realise they can't refute any more, the can gets proverbially kicked further down the nave.
Bill Dembski hinged his arguments on 2 factors, one of which was specified complexity.
I use the analogy of Lego to question which of the possible models you can build from a Lego set is the one with specified complexity, and conclude that perhaps it's the brick?
