Question for Atheists - How Did the Brain Evolve to Understand Something as Large as the Universe?
Questions for Atheists
Well, I can't fit the script in the description this time, so here's a summary. The question notes we don't observe brains creating brains. I note we don't observe minds creating minds either. The author implies through "possibly" that there is more to the brain than just physical, chemical, and electrical activity. I challenge the basis for assuming there is more.
I explore redundancy and synergy in information processing in the brain and how synergy seems to be the key difference between us and other primates.
I discuss how the regions of the brain evolved gradually, driven by such factors such as environment, competition, language development which itself seems to have emerged due to facial musculoskeletal evolution, and the increased use of artefacts.
