A follow up to a video I did earlier. I updated my 2012 Nexus 7 over the air to the latest 5.0.2. Lollipop edition and this resulted in my device being very laggy and unresponsive.

I did do a factory reset and opted not to restore a backup from the cloud but to install the tablet as a new device logging in with my regular Google account. This results in a smoother operating tablet without the lag. So those issues are fixed! The downside is that you have to do a complete wipe.

When I did attempt to restore a backup after the factory reset the tablet was very laggy and unresponsive so there may be some incompatible settings or conflicting files when you do a restore. A fresh install is the best.

I quickly shot this ad-hoc without any editing.
