Some the better version of Doom 3 without survival horror elements
I call it the most overlooked Fps you did not played , same could have been said about "Chaser"
So explain why it was overlooked ... it used an awful DRM StarForce that damaged your Media readers... and at that time people hated this DRM , so yeah DRM killed the title ... same can be said about Chaser and its Safedisk DRM that was used 2 times , first in the installation and then in the game main exe ...
Why people hated those DRMs, well in 70% of the time this DRM did not recognized your Original medium ... heck Chaser DRM was so bugged , devs had to release a CRACK called "Chaser Emergency Fix"... yeah that's beyond fucked ,and at that time many people did not had Internet so ... for this drm error this game became obscure , forgotten and overlooked ... even if it was 200x better then the competition ...
Why did i bought up this Chaser thing ... well the same thing was with Alpha Prime , not to mention you have to play with patch 1.3 to have Sound and Voice overs (ouch) ... but when you start playing it , your pulled into it , its one of the most fun Fps you will play ... a Doom 3 clone that knew what to fix from doom to make this game a hit ... if you get a chance pick it up , its worth your time
But a word o warning this game is a 4:3 game , yes you can push the engine in the menu to 1080p and BEYOND even 4K but playing in 16:9 resolutions fuck up the touch pad menus ... also to stop the texture flickering you have to turn off Paralax and go to 640x480 resolution and then go back to your settings ... it fixes it
