Roguelike...something...game by Thomas Moon Kang.
I think the plot involves a world, some survivors, and a...god?...goddess? SOMETHING! All I know is there's lots of fightin'!
Gameplay is kinda like Battle Network. You have your spells/cards/whatever-you-wanna-call-em in a deck you use to do things, like say...shooting a lightning bolt or set a turret or give yourself a shield, each with some Mana cost to use it. As you progress, you get Artifacts (think buffs) and more spells to add to your deck. All randomly acquired, by the way. No run is the same...unless you use the same seed. =P The goal is to make it ALL the way to the end. Oh yeah! And you get different characters to play, each with their own style of playing and some kind of different style to play them. Examples: Saffron is a super easy character to play: hold a button to attack, use spells. EZ. She also has a different style where she uses her watch to slow down the battle. ELSEWHERE, you have Hazel, where one of her style is to place objects, like turrets, and hit them with her wrench to power them up.
This quicklook delves down the Eden rabbit hole with basic Saffron'ing. I believe I could've made it to the end, so I decided to NOT reach the end and pick a fight with the Shopkeeper...AGAIN! If I had got a game over earlier, I would've played Hazel. =P -
