Quinty Super Famicom Pseudo Longplay - March 1999 Prototype Build
This is a playthrough of one of the prototype builds of Quinty for the Super Famicom / Super Nintendo. Dated March 1999, this is the earliest dated version but is arguably the most complete since all of its levels can be finished. It plays more like Mendel Palace for NES than Famicom Quinty thanks to the boss fights reflecting the former.
That being said, the game cannot be completed. The final levels that would lead to the credits do not seem to be present. Because of that, the presence of an innate level select, and since I'm kind of mid at the game and probably missed some stuff, I've labeled this as a "pseudo" longplay to temper any expectations people may have about this playthrough.
Thanks to Gamefreak for their hard, thankless work on this title. It's too bad it was released to the public in this manner but I have enjoyed leaning about and fumbling through the NES and SNES versions regardless.
